figuring out Camp ...

My dearest, my darling, my one, my beloved Hunter figured out how to set up a cabin ... she is even providing the graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows.

I just have to come up with kindling, sticks, and a place to make fire.

For me to actually write,I have gotten out the old music that worked for how long?

Yep. I'm doing sing alongs with Jose Jose and Alejandro Fernandez ...

everyone needs something to write on
I finally figured out the theme song - Besame Mucho ... unfortunately, I have 18 versions of it and need to choose just one that I can play into the ground. Tonight's song has been Eres (you are) ... it works with a coffee theme ... I just need one for miscommunication - and soon.

goosing the muse, so to speak

Okay, so this isn't exactly a goose - but I couldn't come up with anything snappy about a duck.

The 29 Day Gift Challenge I've set myself to has done one definite thing ... it has gotten me to write every day.  (See Lisa Fisk Blog)

I haven't done any of what I'd call high level gift giving, but it has made me be more thoughtful and it has gotten me to engage my fingers at the keyboard and let ideas flow.

I've also turned on the music that used to engage the muse ... Jose Jose might not work for some people, but as a Latin Crooner (70s/80s vintage), he makes for lovely background music.  Besides, I think the muse got a little too attached to Alejandro Fernandez a year or so ago, so we are reversing back just a little bit.
