Information comes from everywhere, all of the time. Feeling that you are 'married' to one source of information is incredibly limiting and can be frustrating.
I for one have always believed that information is like a forest, the more information you have, the more branches you can see. The more branches and subsequently the more leaves, the more possibilities.
Enjoy the possibilities, relish them, don't limit them!
